I was born in Balıkesir in 1976.
Balıkesir Health Vocational High School Midwifery Department was established in 1994,
I completed my Istanbul University Florence Nightingale Nursing Undergraduate Education in 1998.
I worked in 657 civil servant positions in ÅžiÅŸli Etfal Hospital, Emergency Intensive Care and Emergency Surgery departments between 1990 and 1994.
I had education and formal work experience in England between 1998 and 2001, specializing in Language Education, Business Management and Elderly Care.
During my time in England; During my education and in the spare time from the elderly care homes where I worked, I conducted research and practices on the care of Alzheimer's and chronic care patients.
Since the second half of 2001, when I returned to Turkey; I started to share my education and experiences I received abroad at the Kasev Foundation Teachers' Nursing Home and Nursery, where I was the manager and responsible manager for six years. I have achieved many firsts in professional elderly care, which is very new throughout the country. I worked in every stage of the International grant program within the scope of the Japanese Chamber Project, especially in the management team. In this project, I played an active role as a manager and employee in establishing a care unit for 40 people. In order to take my career one step further with my knowledge and experience, I joined the DoÄŸa Nurseries Group as General Coordinator in 2007.
I worked with international wound companies and received professional certificates and training on wounds, and took part as a Geriatric Care Consultant in the Izmir National Health Park project. Again, by providing consultancy in the foundational establishment and implementation of Meva Nursing Home-Patient and Rehabilitation Center, I undertook the Care Services Consultancy of the project nationally and internationally. I worked in Health Tourism authorization certificate and active licensing and maintenance service manager roles at the Medical Center.I took an active role in training, standards, accreditation, care tourism and consultancy roles in elderly care and rehabilitation center projects in Didim (Germany and Sweden Investment Fund) and Akçay (Al Baraka Turkish Venture Capital Fund). I take part in European Union Geriatric Care projects as an active educator and consultant.I have attended and continue to attend important Geriatrics Congresses, Regulations, Workshops and Symposiums across the country; I have worked and continue to work as an educator in Universities and Associations, especially in the Elderly and Patient Caregiver Course, which adds great contribution and quantity to the sector. I took part in the scientific and regulatory boards of various congresses and courses.I also completed the Master's program in the Hospital and Health Institutions Management department. Afterwards, I combined it with my nursing profession and attended Palliative Care credit courses at Harvard University in America. I still examine Elderly Care models in England, America and many European Countries and visit them from time to time.I took part as a consultant in the establishment of a Turkish (Within the Scope of Immigrant Care) day care center in the Netherlands and in culturally sensitive care planning. I was in the country for training of trainers in care standards and education in the Dutch care system.I completed Üsküdar University Health Management Doctorate program. I have written and continue to write chapters, articles and training programs in various books. Dr. As a lecturer, I give lectures at various universities.I write erasmus projects in the field of care, which is the strength of nursing, and I take part in these projects as a partner/trainer.Throughout my working life, I have been involved in one-on-one care for the elderly.I am the president of HUZDER to bring the standards of elderly care to a global and development level in our country and I am also a member of the Sasder Board of Directors.With the excitement of combining knowledge and experience under the roof of my own institution and adding more value to the sector with new goals, I have been the owner of a boutique business as a founding partner named Ocean Elderly Care Center since May 2013.
